Monday, Nov. 24

Indiana County Community Action Program Thanksgiving Distribution: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., 2131 Shelly Drive, Indiana 

A Thanksgiving distribution will be hosted by the Indiana County Community Action Program at its food bank warehouse until supplies run out. Drivers are instructed to enter Shelly Drive from Philadelphia Street. People who attended the Homer City/Center Township distribution are not eligible.

Westmoreland Community Action Free Thanksgiving Meal: 12 to 3 p.m., 5103 Center Dr., Latrobe 

The Westmoreland Community Action group will be offering 500 free Thanksgiving meals on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tuesday, Nov. 25

Pittsburgh sports teams partner with Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank for #BurghProud Team Distribution: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Mazeroski Way cul-de-sac, North Shore

The Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers and Penguins are teaming up for a fifth consecutive year of hosting their #BurghProud Thanksgiving meal distribution. Families throughout the greater Pittsburgh area who need help putting Thanksgiving dinner on their table are invited to attend this drive-thru event in the Mazeroski Way cul-de-sac in the North Shore.

In partnership with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and supported by Giant Eagle, attendees are offered a turkey, produce, apple pie and a $15 Giant Eagle gift card, along with “special gifts” from the three teams.

The line for the distribution will form along North Shore Drive at the corner of Mazeroski Way, and meals will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis with a limit of two shares per vehicle.

Wednesday, Nov. 26

Annual Albright Community Thanksgiving Eve Dinner: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., 5401 Centre Ave., Pittsburgh

All are invited to attend a hot, home-cooked meal at the 51st annual Albright Thanksgiving Eve dinner at  the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.

Thursday, Nov. 27

Light of Life Rescue Mission Thanksgiving meals: 12 to 6 p.m., 234 Voeghtly St., Pittsburgh

As a part of its tradition since 1952, Light of Life Rescue Mission staff and volunteers will be serving thanksgiving meals to homeless people and those in need at the Voeghtly Street Shelter.

Coraopolis United Methodist Church’s annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner: 1 to 3 p.m., 1205 Ridge Ave., Coraopolis

The Coraopolis United Methodist will host its 13th annual Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner, which will include dishes such as roast turkey, homemade mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing and more. The dine-in meal will be served in the church’s dining hall, is free of charge and open to everyone in the West Hills area. No reservations required.

St. Peter & St. Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church’s Thanksgiving Dinners: 12:30 to 4:30 p.m., 220 Mansfield Blvd., Carnegie 

The St. Peter & St. Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church is offering a buffet dinner to those in need Thursday, after its noon service. Pick-up options are also available and residents in Carnegie, Greentree, Crafton, Ingram, Bridgeville, Pennsbury Village, Heidelberg, Scott, Rennerdale, Rosslyn Farms and Thornburg can pre-order dinner delivery by Nov. 25.

Sharpsburg Family Worship Center’s Thanksgiving Meal: 12 to 3 p.m., 610 Clay St., Pittsburgh

The Sharpsburg Family Worship Center will host a free Thanksgiving dinner Thursday, with grab-and-go options available at 2:30 p.m. while supplies last. 

Butler Turkey Day Feast: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 200 E North St., Butler

A sit-down dinner will be served on Thanksgiving Day for the annual Butler Turkey Day Feast at the Butler Global Church. Take-and-bake boxes will be available for pick up Nov. 25 and 26, and deliveries can be made in specified local areas. Sign-up is required for pick-up and delivery options.

Our Lady of the Valley Parish Community Thanksgiving Dinner: 12 to 3 p.m., 643 California St., Rochester

The Second Baptist Church and Our Lady of the Valley Parish will offer eat-in and take-out Thanksgiving meals, which will include turkey, sweet potatoes, stuffing, green beans and more. The event will be held at Saint Cecilia Church Hall, and walk-ins are welcome.

Nemacolin Volunteer Fire Department Thanksgiving Dinner: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., 441 Roosevelt Lane, Nemacolin

Carmichaels and Cumberland Township residents are invited to the Nemacolin Volunteer Fire Department for a free Thanksgiving dinner. Registration is required.

Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church’s Community Thanksgiving Dinner: 12 to 2 p.m., 112 Pike St., Canonsburg 

The Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church will host a Thanksgiving meal at its Fellowship Hall. Dine-in is available from 12 to 2 p.m. and take-out meals are available after 1 p.m.. No reservations necessary.
